Price Arrangement in Public Transport Fees!

According to the unanimous decision taken at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Transportation Coordination Centre (UKOME) meeting, 40% price increase will be applied to public transportation fees as of Saturday, April 9th. The new price schedule is as follows:

Change on the price of the tickets in Istanbul are; electronic tickets increased to 7.67 liras from 5.48 liras, the first transfer increased from 3.92 liras to 5.48 liras, and the full monthly fee increased from 430 liras to 602 liras.

The student discounted electronic ticket price increased to 3.74 liras from 2.67 liras, the student monthly fee increased to 109 liras from 78 liras, and the teacher discounted ticket price increased to 5.49 liras from 3.92 liras.

Taximeter opening the yellow taxi fee is increased to 9.8 Turkish Liras from 7 Turkish Liras; the short distance fee is increased to 28 Turkish Liras from 20 Turkish Liras. Minimum fare for the mini buses increased to 5.25 Turkish Liras from 3.75 Turkish Liras and the fare for school service is increased to 554 Turkish Liras from 396 Turkish Liras for distances for 0 to 1 km. The personnel service fee is  increased to 295 Turkish Liras from 211 Turkish Liras (the first departure of the vehicle with a capacity of 10 to 17 seats).
