3 Stations are closed on M1A Line!
Services on M1A Yenikapi-Ataturk Airport Metro Line will be provided in between Yenikapi and Atakoy / Sirinevler for a period as of September 11, 2020, due to M1 line capacity enhancement and M9 line integration works. Yenibosna, World Trade Centre (DTM) and Ataturk Airport stations will be closed during this period.
Passengers wishing to continue in the direction of Ataturk Airport will be able to use IETT shuttles at the exit of Atakoy / Sirinevler station free of charge. Shuttle operation will only provide service to Atakoy-Sirinevler, Yenibosna, World Trade Centre (DTM) and Ataturk Airport stops.
When the integration works are completed, comfortable and fast transfer will be provided between M1A Yenikapi-Ataturk Airport and M9 Atakoy-Ikitelli lines, and an uninterrupted transportation alternative by rail system will emerge between Yenikapi and Ikitelli region.
About M9 Atakoy-Ikitelli Metro Line
When 13-kilometer line consisting of 12 stations, which is planned to be partially opened in 2021, is completed; it will reduce the distance between Atakoy and Ikitelli to 19.5 minutes and will have a capacity of 35,000 passengers per hour in one direction.
Line will be integrated to M3 at İkitelli Sanayi Station, M7 at Mehmet Akif Station, M1B at Mimar Sinan Station, M2 at Cobancesme Station, M1A at Yenibosna Station and to Marmaray at Atakoy station.
