Kabatas Station is built 16 meters under the sea level. There is an elevation difference of 70 meters with Taksim Station. The 22, 19% slope between the two stations is smoothly handled thanks to the drawing of the cable system controlled by the mechanical system located at Taksim Station, using the counter-weight principle.

Integration

  • At Taksim Station, you can change to M2 Yenikapi - Haciosman Metro Line and T2 Taksim – Tunnel Heritage Tram,
  • At Kabatas Station, you can change to T1 Kabatas-Bagcilar Tram Line, intercity lines, IDO, BUDO and motorboats.

With the commissioning of F1 Taksim - Kabatas Funicular Line, passengers using M2 Line can now access to Kabataş Wharf and passengers arriving at Ataturk Airport to Taksim area using the rail system network.
